ChefGenius

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 8, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the ChefGenius app and website. By using the service you accept these terms. If you disagree, don't use the service.

1. Service description

ChefGenius is an AI cooking assistant that generates and adapts recipes for kitchen robots, plans meals, and offers nutritional features. We offer a Free plan (with ads) and a Premium subscription.

2. Account and minimum age

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account.

3. Free and Premium plans

The Free plan includes limited monthly quotas and light ads. Premium (€4.99/mo or €39.99/yr) unlocks unlimited features, removes ads and adds personalised AI analysis. The 7-day free trial auto-converts unless you cancel.

4. Payments and cancellation

Payments are processed via Stripe. Cancel any time from the customer portal; you keep access until the end of the paid period. No refunds for partially used periods unless legally required.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for illegal activity, spam, reverse engineering or attempts to compromise platform security. We reserve the right to suspend abusive accounts.

6. AI-generated content

Recipes and suggestions are AI-generated for informational purposes. They do NOT replace a professional chef, medical or dietary advice. Always verify allergens and dietary suitability before cooking. We are not liable for recipe errors.

7. Intellectual property

Rights to the app, brand and original content belong to ChefGenius. Recipes you publish remain yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display them inside the service.

8. Liability limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss arising from use of the service. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months preceding the incident.

9. Changes

We may modify these terms with 30 days' notice by email or in-app. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes go to the courts of Madrid, without prejudice to consumer rights in your country of residence.
